In my last post I slipped in this photo of thunder eggs that I had cut and polished the day before.  This photo had nothing to do with the post but I just couldn’t resist posting it since thunder eggs are my favorite rocks.  In this photo you can see thunder eggs from Buchanan, OR; Friends Ranch, OR; Secret Ridge, OR and Succor Creek, OR.  There is also a piece of agate nodule from Hog Creek near Weiser, ID.  The rest of this post has some close up photos of these thunder eggs and more that I finish after took this photo.
